Van Gogh sneakers

In this work, Kutnyak refers to Vincent van Gogh's famous series of shoes, but replaces the rough peasant footwear with a symbol of modern mass culture - sneakers. The author uses irony to rethink "old" art through the prism of everyday life in the 21st century. The artwork is executed in Kutnyak's characteristic manner, combining elements of monumental painting and psychological search.
