Exhibited - SALON D'AUTOMNE 2008. PARIS. This painting brought the artist worldwide recognition: it was for this work that Ruslan Kutnyak received the Lorenzo il Magnifico award (Lorenzo Pyshny gold medal) in the Painting category at the IV International Biennale of Contemporary Art in Florence in 2003. The plot of the painting is deeply symbolic: children building a house of cards personify the fragility of human plans against the backdrop of global historical symbols - the Tower of Babel and the twin towers of the World Trade Center, disappearing into the mist.
